Ordering
Which are the countries eligible to order from Canadian Insulin?
You can place an order from anywhere in the contiguous USA, as well as from Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii. Flat shipping rates apply to all destinations within the contiguous USA. However, some additional charges may apply for shipping to Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii.
How does Canadian Insulin Work?
Canadian Insulin provides an affordable solution to costly diabetes medications in the United States. By partnering with licensed Canadian pharmacies, we offer medications at a lower cost. Once you register with us, you can browse our selection of affordable insulin and diabetes supplies. After placing an order, we work with our licensed pharmacy partners to fill/refill your prescription(s).
How often should I order?
The decision on how much medication to order depends on you and your doctor. However, to maximize your savings, we recommend ordering up to a three-month supply at a time. This way, you can cover your medication needs for an entire year with just four orders, and save more on shipping costs.
Prescriptions
Is it legal to order my prescriptions online from Canada?
You may order a prescription medication for personal use online from Canada for up to a three-month supply, provided that you have a valid prescription from a registered physician to support your order. Please note, we meticulously verify all prescriptions before we process your order.
How often do I need to provide release forms (Customer Agreements) and valid prescriptions?
Agreeing to our Customer Agreement is a one-time requirement, which you can do during our simple registration process. Once you have uploaded your prescription, you can place an order with us. You do not need to upload a new prescription for refills on an existing valid prescription. However, please note that we will require a new prescription once your current one expires (after 1 year) or you have exhausted all of the refills available (we have processed and shipped the total number of refills indicated in the prescription).
Can my doctor send you the prescription?
Yes, your doctor can directly email us at service@canadianinsulin.com or fax it to us at 1-866-951-0118. If you would prefer, we can also reach out to your clinic with a prescription transfer request.
Payment and savings
What is the reason behind the huge price difference between local pharmacies in the USA and Canadian Insulin?
Prices for medications are less in Canada. That is why we partner with registered and licensed pharmacies in Canada to ship your prescription, so you can save more with us.
What are the accepted payment methods?
We accept payment in USD via Visa or Mastercard credit cards. Please note that we do not accept AMEX, Paypal or Crypto Currencies.
Is it safe to share my credit card number with Canadian insulin?
Our website is secured with EVSSL (Extended Validation Secure Sockets Layer). Rest assured your financial details are safe with us. We will not share your financial and personal data with any third party outside our business. We may use your email address and phone numbers to inform you about our latest updates, offers and news.
Do you accept insurance plans from the USA?
Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance and other medical benefits from the USA. That is because most US insurance plans do not cover medication cost claims from Canada or any other foreign country. However, we do provide receipts and invoices for every purchase you make with us.
Do you have a reward system for your customers?
Yes, we do have a Rewards program. Full details are on our Rewards program page.
How can I use my promo code?
You can find your promo codes under My Accounts>My Coupons. In most cases the promo code will automatically apply to your order. If it does not, then add the coupon code under your order summary while checking out. Please note, you cannot add more than one coupon code per order.
Can I share My Coupon with my friends and Family?
Yes. You can share the coupon and promotion codes with friends and family.
Shipping and delivery
Where are your insulin products and medications shipped from?
Many of our medications are shipped from our licensed pharmacy partners in Canada. We also source medications from other countries to give you the option to find your prescription from licensed international pharmacies providing the same medication at a different price. We do this to give you the very best price and selection on select medications and will always disclose the country of origin on the individual product page, so you are aware of options in advance of a purchase.
How do you ship cold products?
We ship insulin and all other temperature-sensitive products in specially designed, medical-grade, temperature-controlled packaging to protect them in transit. Storage and temperature guidance for each product, based on the manufacturer’s specifications, is on its product page.
When will my insulin be shipped after I place an order?
To ensure accuracy, we verify all orders before shipping them. After the order is processed, it is typically shipped within 48-72 hours. However, during peak seasons, it may take up to 5 business days to process your order.
What are the shipping charges?
Express shipping is necessary for some medications such as insulin. Cold-packed products ship Express at $39.99 within the contiguous United States. For medications not requiring cold packaging, you can choose Express shipping at $29.99 or Standard shipping at $19.99. A surcharge may apply: $50.00 on cold-packed orders of less than 3 units, and $35.00 on dry-packed orders of $300.00 or less. You can find more information about shipping and estimated delivery times below, or for complete details, on our shipping policy page.
